PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for improving ground, which provides predetermined solidification intensity in an early stage after improvement work of soft ground and can thereafter sufficiently inhibit increase in the solidification intensity and sufficiently reduce the elution amount of hexavalent chromium from the improved ground; and to provide a method for producing a cement clinker used for the method.
SOLUTION : The method for improving ground comprises a step of adding and mixing 40-100 kg of a solidification material for re-digging, comprising 83-93 mass% of the cement clinker with a hydraulic modulus (HM) of 2.20-2.35, a silica modulus (SM) of 2.50-2.90 and an iron modulus (IM) of 2.50-3.50, and a total chrome content of 30-70 mg/kg in the cement clinker, and 7-17 mass% of gypsum, for 1 m3 of soil of interest with a pozzolan activity of 15-25% and a natural water content of 30-50%.
