PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth anisotropic magnet, which improves anisotropy of individual power particles prepared by the HDDR process to improve the magnetic property.SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing a rare earth anisotropic magnet includes the steps of : using R-Fe-B-based rare earth magnet powder as a raw material, wherein R is at least one of the rare earth elements including Y; and, during processing the powder through the HDDR process, pulverizing the HD-processed powder and then conducting the DR process to the powder. Typically, R is Nd and the composition of the magnet to be manufactured is Nd2Fe14B. Preferably, the diameter of the pulverized powder is 80% or less, more preferably 75% or less, of the diameter of the raw powder.COPYRIGHT : (C)2012, JPO&INPIT |
