PURPOSE : A functional clay substance interior and exterior material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to use a titanium dioxide photo-catalyst coated with apatite on the surface to adsorb and decompose harmful organic compounds from the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION : A manufacturing method of a functional clay substance interior and exterior material comprises the following steps : mixing chemical compounds to 5, 000 milliliters of distilled water; adding 50 grams of nano-size photo-catalyst TiO_2 while stirring the compound, and stirring the mixture for an hour to uniformly settle apatite on the surface of the TiO_2; growing the apatite for 24~48 hours after stop stirring; obtaining a titanium dioxide photo-catalyst; mixing 1~19wt% of titanium dioxide photo-catalyst, 1wt% of mixed agent, 77~95wt% of distilled water, 1~19wt% of thickener, 1~19wt% of binder and 1~19wt% of stabilizer while stirring to obtain a water paint; and forming the functional clay substance interior and exterior material with the water paint. |
