The blade (24) has a cutting edge (27) formed along a crystallographic axis of a single crystal grid, where the blade is made from single crystal of hard, crack-resistant, pore-free material based on partially stabilized zirconium dioxide. The zirconium dioxide is manufactured by aligned crystallization of zirconium dioxide-melt with yttrium oxide, where tetragonal phase homogeneity in the circumference and on a surface of the cutting edge is maintained through tempering of the single crystal with temperature of 1250-1400 degree Celsius in the course of 10-100 seconds. The single crystal is stabilized by oxidizing rare-earth elements. An independent claim is also included for an electrosurgical, bipolar cutting instrument comprising isolated, conducting parts. |
