The method involves arising a fluid stream in a carbon dioxide washing (1) of the exhaust gas (7) by chemical absorption downstream to the fuel burn of a fossil fired power plant. The cooling of the carbon dioxide containing fluid stream (10) is implemented in a washing stage (12) of the desorber and the decoupling of thermal energy from the carbon dioxide containing fluid stream is implemented within or through a washing water circuit (17) with condensate return of the washing stage. An independent claim is also included for a desorber with a re-coupling. |
