PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dry type surface treatment equipment with which treatment can be uniformly applied to both surfaces of a material to be treated, such as a plate-like or arched rare-earth permanent magnet in particular. SOLUTION : The dry type surface treatment equipment has a surface treatment material feeding part and a cylindrical barrel with a porous peripheral surface for holding the material to be treated in it in a treatment chamber. The cylindrical barrel is set sideways and surface treatment is applied to the material to be treated while rotating the cylindrical barrel round the horizontal axis of rotation. The cylindrical barrel has a sliding stopping part for stopping the material to be treated held in the barrel from sliding along the inner peripheral surface of the barrel by the rotation of the barrel. |
