PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a glossing glaze for a low temperature-fired tile with a reduced content of boron and alkalies R12O and a low melting point as well as a light load to the environment, and the glossing glaze for a low temperature-fired tile.
SOLUTION : The method for producing a Pb-free glossing glaze for a low temperature-fired tile includes the following steps (a)-(c) : (a) a step of determining a color of the glossing glaze; (b) a step of determining a specified standard amount of each of B2O3, an alkali (R12O) and an alkaline earth to be used in the glossing glaze base; and (c) a step of producing the glossing glaze by using each amount of the B2O3 and R12O less than the specified standard amount thereof and using an amount of the alkaline earth more than the specified standard amount thereof, and not using PbO. The method and the glossing glaze for a low temperature-fired tile produced by the method are provided.
