PURPOSE : A rack type filter is provided to prevent unnecessary idle of a pump and to make re-operation of a filter possible without additional water supply. CONSTITUTION : A rack type filter comprises : a suction chamber(10) which is hung on the upper end of a water tub and inhales water of a tank by using a pump; and a filtering chamber(20) which is connected to the side of the suction chamber and discharges filtered water to the water tub. The suction chamber includes : a pump(5) driving an impeller installed in the lower side of the suction chamber; an outlet(16) in which the end thereof is opened; an impeller sealing unit(18) formed in the upper part of the impeller; and a partition(30) installed between the suction chamber and filtering chamber.
