PURPOSE : A correction and a method for offering a re-reconstructed computer tomography image are provided to reduce a metal artifact by integrating information about patient history and ability of operator into ability of computer along a synergy lines.
CONSTITUTION : Image data about a plurality of computer tomography images is accessed. A sub set composed of the computer tomography images including one or more high density characteristic parts is discriminated. One and more high density characteristic parts are detected in the discriminated sub set. One and more high density characteristic parts are classified according to one or more characteristic part properties. A compensation image(804) is formed by distributing pixels representing tissue through one or more classified high density characteristic parts.
