PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a hollow container having a barrier layer comprising a resin composition obtained by performing melt mixing of a polyolefin (A), a m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B), and a modified polyolefin (C), and a hollow container obtained.
SOLUTION : The method for producing a hollow container having a barrier layer comprising a resin composition obtained by performing melt mixing of a polyolefin (A), a m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B), and a modified polyolefin (C) is provided, wherein pellets of the m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B) are particles with a size of 2.0-5.0 mm. The pellets of the m-xylylene group-containing polyamide (B) are used when peaks due to crystallization observed by DSC measurement satisfy the formula (1) : H1
