PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a powder of a rare-earth magnet, in which the condition of dehydrogenation treatment is improved in comparison with that of a conventional method.
SOLUTION : The method for producing the powder of the rare-earth magnet includes the steps of : mixing a powder of a hydride of an alloy of at least one rare-earth element and an element different from the at least one rare-earth element, a powder of iron and a powder of a boride of iron; and subjecting the obtained mixture powder to dehydrogenation treatment.
