PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for treatment of contaminant components which can effectively adsorb and remove contaminant components without using a large amount of contaminant component adsorbent.
SOLUTION : The method for treatment of contaminant components includes : a first treatment process for treating anions, contained in a contaminated medium and inhibiting adsorption of the contaminant components by the adsorbent, with a magnesium-based treatment agent to stabilize the anions by forming sparingly soluble salt; and a second treatment process for removing the contaminant components contained in the contaminated medium, of which the content of the anions has been reduced, by using a rare earth-based adsorbent or an iron-based adsorbent.
