简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a highly quenchable Fe-based rare earth magnetic material that is manufactured by a rapid solidification process and exhibits good magnetic characteristics and thermal stability. SOLUTION : This application relates to an isotropic Nd-Fe-B type magnetic material manufactured by a rapid solidification process having a lower optimal wheel speed and a broader optimal wheel speed window than those used in manufacturing a magnetic material. The material exhibits remanence (Br) and intrinsic coercivity (Hci) values of between 7.0 to 8.5 kG and 6.5 to 9.9 kOe, respectively, at room temperature. The application also relates to a method of manufacturing the material and to a bonded magnet manufactured from the magnetic material, which is suitable for direct replacement of anisotropic sintered ferrite in many applications.
