PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a laminate displacement element excellent in piezoelectric properties, in restriction of pollution, and in environmental and ecological aspects. SOLUTION : The displacement element has a laminate 10 composed of a plurality of piezoelectric layers 11 and a plurality of inner electrodes 2 alternately laminated. The piezoelectric layers 11 contain BaTiO3 as a main component and are laminated to obtain a high displacement quantity and make the displacement quantity adjustable by the number of the laminated layers. The piezoelectric layer 11 may contain at least one element selected as a sub-component among rare elements such as Mn, Y, etc., or Si, Li and B. This improves the breakdown voltage and the drive reliability. |
