PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a resin composition for a resin-bonded magnet, having a surface coating applied on an iron-based magnet alloy powder containing rare earth elements, having a high fluid Q-value and superior moldability, suppressing deterioration in the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic alloy powder containing the rare earth element due to heating by shearing, such as, composition formation or magnetization, and being capable of suppressing deterioration in the mechanical strength, and to provide a resin-bonded magnet.
SOLUTION : The composition for a resin-bonded magnet has a surface, on which a coating containing a composite metal phosphate of iron phosphate and rare earth metal phosphate is formed, and contains a magnetic powder comprising an iron-based magnetic alloy, including a rare earth element and a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin as the resin binder, and depending on the composition, a tetraalkoxysilane compound is blended by integral blending.
