Disclosed is a re-adherable silicone-based adhesive composition which exhibits excellent adhesion and release characteristics and makes it possible to easily control the adhesive strength of a re-adherable adhesive layer according to the constitution of the composition. Also disclosed are a sheet-shaped base material and re-adherable adhesive sheet which have a re-adherable adhesive layer obtained by curing said composition. The re-adherable silicone-based adhesive composition includes a reaction product obtained from a condensation reaction between (a1) 100 parts by mass of an MQ organopolysiloxane resin in which the molar ratio of M-units and Q-units is in the range of 0.6-1.0 and the content of hydroxy groups or alkoxy groups is in the range of 0.3-2.0 mass%, and (a2) 20-100 parts by mass of a linear diorganopolysiloxane having an average degree of polymerization of 100-1000 and including at least one hydroxy group or alkoxy group. Said reaction product preferably has a prescribed hydroxy group content. |
