PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a rare earth sintered magnet, producing a molded body even under an ordinary temperature, and easily manufacturing the rare earth sintered magnet having a large residual magnetic flux density.
SOLUTION : The method for producing the rare earth sintered magnet 10 includes : a molding step of molding a mixture of magnetic powder containing a rare earth compound and oil-extended rubber containing oil and rubber to produce the molded body; a desolvation step of removing the oil-extended rubber from the molded body; and a calcining step of calcining the molded body from which the oil-extended rubber is removed to produce the rare earth sintered magnet 10.
