PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a thermoelement of light weight in which installation to a heat source etc. which has unevenness on the surface is easy, processing is easy, neither rare element nor toxic element is necessarily included, practically sufficient voltage and/or practically sufficient current are securable, and which is tough to vibration and thermal stress. SOLUTION : The thermoelement 10 is provided with a high temperature electrode 12, a low temperature electrode 14, and a plurality of linear flexible elements 16 in which both ends are connected to the high temperature electrode 12 and the low temperature electrode 14, respectively, and which are composed of thermoelectric material. In this case, it is desirable that at least one of the high temperature electrode 12 and the low temperature electrode 14 has flexibility.
