PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a plasma display panel of a high productivity in which confirmation of color mixture when coating a phosphor is made easy.
SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing a plasma display panel, in which a front face plate and a rear face plate with a plurality of concave portions formed by barrier ribs 109 are arranged face to face, and phosphor layers emitting a red color, green color and blue color respectively are arranged in the concave portions, includes an ink jet coating step for filling a phosphor paste containing a phosphor powder, a binder resin and an organic solvent by an ink jet coating method. The phosphor paste forming at least the phosphor layer is made to contain an organic phosphor of a rare earth complex.
