PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reuse surplus excitation light without lowering reliability of a fiber laser.
SOLUTION : An optical fiber emission circuit includes : a rare earth-doped optical fiber 11 having a first clad 22 of a plurality of layers around a core 21 and emits emitted light of wavelength longer than the excitation light when the excitation light is made incident; and a GRIN lens 12 which is fused to an end surface of the rare earth-doped optical fiber and has a refractive index distribution in the radial direction. The GRIN lens 12 has a lens length except integer multiple of 0.5 pitches, and is provided with a reflecting filter 24 selectively reflecting the wavelength of the excitation light to the opened end in the axis direction.
