PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet whereby the strength of the compact is high and the magnetic characteristic of the sintered magnet finally obtained is high. SOLUTION : In the manufacturing method of the rare-earth sintered magnet wherein raw material alloy powder is pulverized to obtain pulverized powder, a magnetic field is applied to the pulverized powder and pressed and formed to obtain the compact, and the compact is sintered, and a lubricant including a tetrafluoroethylene group compound A and a compound B expressed in any one kind of a group composed of, expressed in a generic formula, R1-COO-R2, R1-OH, and (R1-COO)nM, is added to the raw material alloy powder and/or the pulverized powder, wherein R1is CnH2n+1, R2is H, CnH2n+1, or CnH2n-1On-1, M is a metal, and n is an integer.
