PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a hydrogen producing catalyst capable of producing hydrogen even if steam is not added and not requiring the heating from the outside in reaction driving, a hydrogen producing method simplified in specifications by the use of the catalyst, a hydrogen producing apparatus using the catalyst, and a fuel cell system in which the hydrogen producing apparatus is incorporated.
SOLUTION : The hydrogen producing apparatus uses the catalyst wherein an active metal is supported on a material comprising a composite oxide having a perovskite structure and containing at least La being a rare-earth element and an alkaline earth metal on an A-site and at least one kind of a transition metal on a B-site. The fuel cell system using the same is also disclosed.
