PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To enjoy effect such as improvement in the degree of orientation due to the addition of lubricant, and at the same time to reduce the wear-and- tear of grinding equipment. SOLUTION : As shown in Fig. 1 (a), after the starting raw material of an R-T-B (R = at least one or two kinds of a rare earth element containing Y, T = at least one or two kinds of transition metal elements, and B= boron)- based rare earth permanent magnet is ground coarsely, lubricant is added. Then, coarse powder where the lubricant is added is ground finely, and a solvent is added to the fine powder. In the solvent, the lubricant should be dissolved. Then, after the fine powder where the solvent is added is formed for obtaining a forming body, the forming body is sintered, thus enjoying effect such as improvement in the degree of orientation due to the addition of the lubricant, and at the same time reducing the wear-and-tear of grinding equipment. |
