A magnet material which has a composition represented by the following formula : Rx(Nb1-pZrp)yBz(T1-qMq)100-x-y-z (wherein R represents an element selected from rare earth elements and Sm makes up at least 50 at.% of the content of R; T represents Fe alone or an element comprising Fe and Co and containing Fe at a ratio of 50 at.% or more; M represents at least one element selected from Ni, Cu, V, Cr, Mn, Al, Si, Ga, Ta and W; 0 ≤ p ≤ 0.5; 0 ≤ q ≤ 0.2; 4 ≤ x ≤ 15 at.%; 1 ≤ y ≤ 4 at.%; and 0.001 ≤ z < 4 at.%), and contains a TbCu7-type crystal phase as the main phase. |
