PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high-quality TRIP steel strip produced on a short production line including no cold rolling nor annealing process.
SOLUTION : The thin strip comprising TRIP steel is cast directly from molten steel having the composition, by weight, 0.05-0.25% C, 0.5-3% (Mn+Cu+Ni), 0.1-4% (Si+Al), ≤0.3% (P+Sn+As+Sb), <0.3% (Ti+Nb+V+Zr+rare earth), <1% Cr, <1% Mo, <1% V and the balance iron with manufacturing impurities, and also having a fine structure including bainite phase and a residual austenite content greater than 5%.
