The system has a vacuum filling machine (10) provided for continuous conveying of foodstuff strand. A separation device (20) divides a portion from the strand, and a transport device (30) i.e. conveying band, is provided for transporting the portions to a re-processing device (40) i.e. packaging device. A sensor unit (50) generates a portion requirement signal (A) i.e. clock signal, based on portion requirement of the re-processing device and delivers the requirement signal to the machine. The machine is designed to control continuous conveying of the strand under utilization of the signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing and transporting foodstuff portion. |
