PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an optical member for touch panel of high heat reliability, which enables obtaining a touch panel which allows input without using a special pen since malfunction is rare under an environment of weak external light, and further allows input in a liquid crystal display device, even if an image is displayed in black, and to provide a display device using this optical member for touch panel.
SOLUTION : The optical member for touch panel with a pair of opposite principal planes includes a first layer 11 which has concavo-convex shape on a surface of one side and a second layer 12 joined to a projection 13 in the concavo-convex shape through a joining agent. When the optical member for touch panel 1 is pressed from one of the principal plane side, the first layer 11 and/or the second layer 12 are reversibly deformed, thereby a state of reflection of the light incident from the other side of the principal plane is changed.
