PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new rare-earth metal complex composition stably exhibiting high emission intensity and showing high solubility in organic medium.
SOLUTION : The rare-earth metal complex composition includes a β-keto-amidonato ligand represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 is saturated hydrocarbon which may be substituted or the like; R2 is a hydrogen atom or the like; R3 is aryl which may be substituted or the like; R4 is hydrogen or the like; R1 and R2, R2 and R3 or R4 or R3 and R4 may be bonded to form a ring) coordinated in a rare-earth metal ion.
