PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a sealed compressor capable of preventing degradation of performance and reliability. ŽSOLUTION : In the method for manufacturing the sealed compressor in which a motor device element having a stator 4 wound with winding and a rotor 5 which uses a rare earth series permanent magnet and which is formed with a shaft insertion hole 11 at a central portion, and a compression element 3 which compresses coolant and is connected with the motor element by a shaft 8 are accommodated in a sealed container 1, the rare earth series permanent magnet of the rotor 5 is polarized, a coil 23 for heating is inserted in the shaft insertion hole 11 of the rotor 5 to heat the rotor 5 by means of induction heating, and the shaft 8 of the compression element 3 is inserted and fixed at the thermally-expanded shaft insertion hole 11 of the rotor 5.
