Process for purifying oil products, especially process for purifying pyrolysis oil and waste oil of waste rubber and waste plastic at ambient temperature and pressure, is provided. The process comprises adding a purifying agent containing water and flocculant, and a feed oil into an emulsifying tank; mixing the purifying agent and the feed oil and emulsifying the both; feeding the emulsified oil to a separating equipment to separate oil from non-oil material for obtaining purified oil products, wherein the purifying agent has a pH value of 4-10, and the flocculant is one selected from the group consisting of kaolin, active carbon, active earth, carbon black, iron-based flocculant and aluminum-based flocculant, or the mixture thereof. Compared with the existing method for purifying oil products by means of high temperature distillation and strong acid and base treatment, the process for purifying oil products can avoid the losses of oil products resulted from carbonizing and coking at high temperature, increase the yields and the security performances of purified oil products, and avoid environment pollution while decrease energy consumption. |
