The outer layer of a single crystal is made from optically transparent material and contains the sublayer from the nano-crystalline scintillator of bromide of lanthanum, located between the external compressive shell and a single crystal. The compressive shell is prepared of the scintillation material of less density in comparison with a single crystal. Beside the composition of a single crystal are introduced small quantities of those radioactive isotopes, for detecting which before the environment this highly sensitive scintillator is intended. |
