FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : method of producing polycarbonate resin involves re-resterification of carbonate diester with an aromatic dihydroxyl compound using three vertical-type polymerisers and one horizontal-type polymeriser. The vertical-type polymerisers are fitted with mixers. Temperature of the walls of a tubular distillatory relative the third vertical-type polymeriser is set at temperature higher than boiling point of the phenol by-product at pressure inside this polymeriser.
EFFECT : obtaining polycarbonate resin with low content of crystalline by-products.
