PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a technology for preventing transformation generated locally, when a thermal shield is to be arranged. SOLUTION : There is provided the method of manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet, in which formed objects G are heated and held, and thereby sintered in a state in which the plurality of formed objects G composed of the alloy powder of a predetermined composition are arranged in a sintering container 10, comprising a box tray having an opening at the upper portion and a lid for closing the opening and a thermal insulating wall, surrounding the formed objects G arranged in the sintering container 10, is arranged. The thermal insulating wall is constituted by combining a plurality of thermal insulating bodies 13, and in the thermal insulating wall, the thermal insulating bodies 13 overlap each other in the thickness direction, in the connecting portion of the adjacent thermal insulating bodies 13.
