Plain bearing alloy made of tin-based white metal comprising antimony as primary alloy element and copper (1-10 wt.%), is claimed, where the white metal, except for inevitable impurities, is free from cadmium, lead, arsenic and chromium, and contains : 4-30 wt.% of antimony; at least one element of cobalt, manganese, scandium or germanium in an amount of 0.2-2.6 wt.%; at least one element of magnesium, nickel, zirconium or titanium in an amount of 0.05-1.7 wt.%; and the total portion of the antimony and copper is 35 wt.% for antimony content that corresponds to three times copper content. |
