PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet having a small temperature dependency of a magnetic property and a method of manufacturing such a rare earth magnet. SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing the rare earth magnet with a composition including a ferromagnetism phase and a grain boundary phase, in which the ferromagnetism phase includes a hard magnetism phase comprising a R2Fe14B-type compound phase and a soft magnetism phase, comprises the steps of : preparing an alloy melt having a predetermined composition in which an element configuring the grain boundary phase includes a primary additional element where a mixed enthalpy with Fe is zero or more; and heating the solidified alloy to a predetermined temperature by temperature rising over 100K/sec.
