PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic having high reliability, durable against application of a high electric field for a long period of time in a high temperature environment even when the ceramic has a composition containing Al, to provide a production method of the dielectric ceramic, and to provide a laminated ceramic capacitor produced by using the dielectric ceramic.
SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic essentially comprises a barium titanate-based compound oxide, containing at least one kind of rare earth element R selected from a group consisting of Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu, and Mg, Ni and Al, in which a crystalline compound oxide essentially comprising the rare earth element R, Ni, Al and Ti is present. Dielectric ceramic layers 1a to 1g are formed of the dielectric ceramic.
