PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic and a dielectric resonator, wherein a Q value is hardly lowered even when stress is repeatedly applied.
SOLUTION : There is provided the dielectric resonator 20 using a dielectric porcelain 6 consisting of the dielectric ceramic which has a first oxide of a perovskite structure containing at least RE (RE is at least one kind of La and Nd), Al, Ca and Ti and a second oxide containing Ca, Al and Si, wherein, when the compositional formula of an oxide including the first oxide and the second oxide and excluding Si is represented by aRE2O3-bAl2O3-cCaO-dTiO2, a, b, c and d satisfy the following relations : 0.056≤a≤0.214, 0.056≤b≤0.214, 0.286≤c≤0.500, 0.230≤d≤0.460 and a+b+c+d=1.
