PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet for simply manufacturing the rare earth sintered magnet having a reduced variation in magnetic characteristic by favorably maintaining the dispersibility of a heavy rare earth powder in a slurry.
SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet includes : attaching a heavy rare earth powder to a magnet element assembly by immersing the magnet element assembly comprising a sintered body including a light rare earth element in a bubbling-agitated slurry including a heavy rare earth powder including at least one of the heavy rare earth metal and its compound, and a solvent, and heat-treating the magnet element assembly to which the heavy rare earth powder is attached to manufacture the rare earth sintered magnet.
