PURPOSE : A phosphor and a white light emitting device including thereof are provided to obtain the white light with the high color rendering index by mixing the phosphor with a green-emitting phosphor.CONSTITUTION : A phosphor has the composition marked with chemical formula 1 : (A_(1-(a+b))Eu_aLn_b)_(1-x)(B_(1-c)Mn_c)_2Al_(6+b-2x)Si_(9-b+2x)O_30. In the chemical formula 1, A is Ca, Sr, or Ba. Ln is more than one trivalent rare earth metal. B is Mg, Zn, Ge, or Co. The phosphor has an osumilite type crystalline structure.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011 |
