The present invention relates to a functional pillow emitting anions and a method of producing the same. More specifically, the functional pillow comprises polypropylene glycol, methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, red mud pozzolan, and a rare earth material, and the method comprises : an ingredient mixing step in which polypropylene glycol, methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, red mud pozzolan, and a rare earth material are mixed together; a foaming agent adding step in which a foaming agent is added to the mixture mixed in the ingredient mixing step to expand the same; a foaming heating step in which the mixture in which foaming is initiated in the foaming agent adding step is introduced into a mold and heated; and a cooling drying step in which the expanded body expanded in the foaming heating step is cooled and dried.
