简介 Each printing cylinder (06) has two sections around its periphery. One prints, the other is non-printing. The printing section of one cylinder prints part of the image. The printing section of the other cylinder prints the other part of the image. One printing cylinder is driven at a production speed corresponding with the satellite cylinder (05) rotary speed. When a non-printing section lies opposite the satellite cylinder, the printing cylinder is driven at a speed less than the production speed. Each printing cylinder has two printing plates distributed around its circumference, defining the printing sections. Each has the same circumferential length. Their distribution is equi-distant. There are exactly two printing plates around the circumference of each printing cylinder. At least eight printing cylinders are provided. One anilox roller (07) is associated with each printing cylinder. Each anilox roller is fed by a chamber color ductor (08). Each printing cylinder is carried in a linear bearing allowing adjustment relative to the satellite cylinder. Each anilox roller is adjustable through the corresponding linear bearing, relative to the associated printing cylinder. The design is further detailed, salient features including the use of one of the cylinder types as the rotor of a synchronous motor and/or as a drive motor with permanent magnet excitation. The motor drive construction is detailed, providing quantified specifications. It may be used for braking. Its stator is internal or external to the roller. Rotary and/or angular measurements are used for control. Rare earth magnets are used.
