A fluorescent lamp for livestock feed. The lamp consists of an optical glass envelope(1), a phosphor layer(2), a discharge cavity(3), a power coupler(4), a titanium-amalgam(5) and a high-frequency connecting line(6). The optical glass envelope(1) can prevent the part of UV-C ultraviolet, and titanium dioxide optical catalyst can be contained in the glass or on the surface of the glass which has a very high ultraviolet transmittance for iddle-length-wave ultraviolet ray. The phosphor of the phosphor layer(2) contains at least one composition below : the rare-earth ion or alkaline earth metal transition elements ion-activated borate system, phosphate system, aluminate system, silicate system. The high-frequency discharge is used to excite the phosphor in order to irradiate light, which has advantages below : the response speed of the lamp is high, the life of the lamp is long, the light output of the lamp is not affected by the voltage, the light output of the lamp is constant and the light of the lamp is not strobe. The lamp also has advantages below : the health and immunity from disease of livestock can be promoted, antivirus and sterilization, decomposition of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gas, and cleaning up the enviroment. |
