PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method and device for stably manufacturing a rotor, capable of suppressing damage of a permanent magnet.
SOLUTION : A permanent magnet press-fitting device 41 includes : a lower plate 42 for positioning a left clamp tool 20a and a right clamp tool 20b; four pillars 43; an upper plate 44 supported by the pillars 43; and six actuators 45 disposed on the upper plate 44 and individually moving up and down the six magnet press-fitting tools 31. The magnet press-fitting tools 31 each have a load detector 31a for detecting a load applied to a rare-earth permanent magnet 3.
