Disclosed is a dielectric ceramic in which reliability can be further improved. Also disclosed is a laminated ceramic capacitor which comprises the dielectric ceramic. The dielectric ceramic contains a perovskite-type compound represented by a constituent formula (Ba1-x-y-aCaxSryRa)m(Ti1-z-h-b-cZrzHfhMbNc)O3 [wherein R represents at least one rare earth element; M represents at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Al, Ni, Zn and Ga; N represents at least one element selected from a group consisting of V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co and Cu; and m, x, y, z, h, a, b and c respectively meet the requirements represented by the following formulae : 0.85 ≤ m ≤ 1.04, 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25, 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.5, 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.4, 0 ≤ h ≤ 0.2, 0.075 ≤ a ≤ 0.5, 0.04 ≤ b ≤ 0.4 and 0.005 ≤ c ≤ 0.2] as the main component, and additionally contains Si as an accessory component in an amount of not less than 0.5 part by mole and less than 20 parts by mole relative to 100 parts by mole of the main component. |
