PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an extrusion material of aluminum alloy for manufacturing various kinds of machine parts superior in strength, machinability, particularly drill workability, and clinchability. SOLUTION : The extrusion material of aluminum alloy for the machine parts comprises an aluminum alloy having a composition of more than 1.7 to 5.0% Si, 0.4-1.0% Mg, 0.03-0.50% Mn, 0.001-1% rare earth elements, furthermore one or two kinds of 0.03-0.30% Zr or 0.03-0.50% Cr as needed, furthermore 0.03-0.4% Cu as needed, and furthermore 0.01-0.1% Sr as needed, and Al and unavoidable impurities as remainders. The aluminum alloy also has a fibrous structure as an internal structure. |
