PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet that has good magnetic properties such as residual magnetic flux density and coercive force, suppresses particle growth in a sintering process, and extends a range of sintering temperature. SOLUTION : This permanent magnet contains compositions such as Tb : 0-10 mass% (not including "0"), R : 25 mass%-35 mass% (R comprises two kinds or more selected from rare earth elements and contains at least the above Tb), Co : 0-2 mass%, B : 0.5 mass%-4.5 mass%, one kind or two kinds or more selected from Cu and Al : 0.02 mass%-0.5 mass%, Zr : 0.03 mass%-0.25 mass%, Zn : 0.02 mass%-0.05 mass%, O : 0.03 mass%-0.2 mass% and Fe and inevitable impurity : remnant.
