PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid electrolyte fuel battery cell with junction strength of a solid electrolyte layer with an inter-connector improved, with gas leak effectively prevented, and further, with an interfacial exfoliation restrained between them due to repetition of temperature rise and fall. SOLUTION : The fuel battery cell, provided with an inter-connector on an electrode-supporting base plate equipped with a gas flow channel, has an inner electrode layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and an outer electrode layer laminated in that order on a part of the electrode-supporting base plate not provided with the inter-connector. The solid electrolyte layer is formed so as to cover the surface of the electrode-supporting base plate at the part not provided with the inter-connector, and at the same time, a layer formed from Ni or NiO and zirconia with rare-earth metal dissolved or a rare-earth metal oxide is interposed at an interface part between the solid electrolyte layer and the inter-connector.
