(57) Abstract : The present invention relates to methods of re-engineering or reshaping antibodies to reduce the immunogenicity of the antibodies, while maintaining the immunospecificity of the antibodies for an antigen. In particular, the present invention provides methods of producing antibodies immunospecific for an antigen by synthesizing a combinatorial library comprising complementarity etermining regions (CDRs) lYom a donor antibody tused in frame to t amework regions lh3m a sub bank of l amework regions.
