PURPOSE : A cathode and a lithium battery including thereof are provided to improve the electrical property including the initial charging capacity by including a cathode active material obtained by doping different elements on Li_2MoO_3.CONSTITUTION : A cathode is formed by spreading a cathode active material composition including a conductive material, a binder and a cathode active material on one side of a current collector. The cathode active material contains a compound marked with chemical formula 1 : Li_xM_yMo_zO_3. In the chemical formula 1, M is Al, Ga, Ge, Mg, Nb, Zn, Cd, Ti, Co, Ni, K, Na, Ca, Si, Fe, Cu, Sn, V, B, P, Se, Bi, As, Zr, Mn, Cr, Sr, V, Sc, Y, a rare earth material, or their mixture.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010 |
