PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a wastewater treatment system which has high purification capability, is simple, and enables space saving.
SOLUTION : The wastewater treatment system mainly comprises : an anaerobic tank 30; an aerobic tank 40; a multifunctional treatment apparatus 50 including a flotation tank 54, a contact aeration tank 60, a biofiltration tank 66, and a floating substance storage/decomposition tank 58; and a filtration/discharge tank 80. The anaerobic tank 30, the aerobic tank 40, the biofiltration tank 66, and a filtration tank body 84 are provided with a rare earth mineral filter material 32, 46A, 46B, 70, 88, and the contact aeration tank 60 is provided with a shaking bed 62. Using the rare earth mineral filter material enables high-performance purification treatment of livestock wastewater or the like and reduction of a treatment time although the wastewater treatment system is simple and space-saving.
